1. PURPOSE & SCOPE
These Community & Usage Guidelines (“Guidelines”) govern acceptable conduct by users when accessing, interacting with, or engaging on any RBN Broadcast platform where interaction, feedback, sharing, or participation is enabled.
The Guidelines apply to all users, visitors, contributors, and stakeholders, whether registered or unregistered.
These Guidelines operate in addition to the Terms of Use and other applicable policies.
2. PLATFORM VALUES & EXPECTATIONS
RBN Broadcast is committed to responsible discourse, cultural sensitivity, and lawful use.
Users are expected to engage respectfully and in compliance with applicable laws.
The platform reserves discretion to regulate conduct to protect public interest, religious harmony, and legal compliance.
3. PERMITTED USE
Users may:
- Access and consume content for personal, non-commercial use
- Share platform links without altering content
- Submit lawful feedback, queries, or complaints
Any engagement must remain within the bounds of these Guidelines.
4. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
Users shall not, directly or indirectly:
- Publish or transmit content that is: - Defamatory, false, or misleading - Abusive, threatening, or harassing - Obscene, vulgar, or unlawful - Hate speech or discriminatory
- Engage in conduct that: - Incites violence or public disorder - Promotes communal disharmony - Disrespects religious sentiments, including Gurbani or Sikh practices - Misrepresents facts or impersonates individuals or institutions
5. MISUSE OF RELIGIOUS CONTENT
Religious or devotional content shall not be used to:
- Mock, distort, or demean faith or belief
- Promote political or commercial agendas
- Issue religious rulings or directives
The LLP may take immediate action against misuse to prevent harm.
6. MISINFORMATION & FALSE CLAIMS
Users shall not spread unverified rumors, fabricated news, or misleading narratives.
The platform may remove content or restrict access to mitigate misinformation risks.
The LLP does not assume responsibility for third-party statements made by users.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY COMPLIANCE
Users must respect copyright and intellectual property rights.
Unauthorized uploading, copying, or redistribution of protected material is prohibited.
Infringing content may be removed without notice.
8. PRIVACY & PERSONAL DATA
Users shall not disclose personal or sensitive information of others without consent.
Doxxing, stalking, or invasion of privacy is strictly prohibited.
Violations may be reported and acted upon immediately.
9. COMMERCIAL & PROMOTIONAL MISUSE
Users shall not:
- Post unsolicited advertisements or promotions
- Solicit funds or business without authorization
- Misuse the platform for commercial gain
Advertisements are governed separately by the Advertisement & Sponsored Content Policy.
10. MODERATION & ENFORCEMENT
The LLP reserves the right to:
- Monitor platform activity
- Remove or restrict access to content
- Suspend or terminate user access
Enforcement actions may be taken without prior notice.
Decisions of the LLP in moderation matters are final.
11. REPORTING VIOLATIONS
Users may report violations with:
- Description of the issue
- URL or content reference
- Supporting information
Reports shall be reviewed by the Legal & Compliance Department.

12. GOVERNMENT & LAW-ENFORCEMENT COOPERATION
The LLP may disclose user information or content pursuant to lawful orders.
Informal or unlawful requests may be declined.
13. DISCLAIMER & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The LLP is not responsible for user-generated content or opinions expressed.
The LLP disclaims liability arising from user conduct to the extent permitted by law.
14. NO WAIVER & RESERVATION OF RIGHTS
Failure to enforce does not constitute waiver.
All rights are reserved.
15. POLICY UPDATES
These Guidelines may be amended without prior notice.
Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised Guidelines.
16. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
These Guidelines shall be governed by the laws of India.
Courts having jurisdiction over the registered office of the LLP shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
17. LEGAL NOTICE
These Community & Usage Guidelines are binding and enforceable upon all users of RBN Broadcast platforms.
