Tension gripped parts of Noida on Thursday morning after several schools received bomb threat emails, prompting swift action by school authorities and the police. The alerts were first reported at Shiv Nadar School and Ramagya School, following which law enforcement agencies were immediately mobilised.
Police Rush to Campuses, Search Operations Launched
Upon receiving information about the threatening emails, Noida Police rushed teams to the affected school premises. Bomb disposal squads and dog units were deployed, and thorough security checks were carried out across classrooms, corridors, parking areas and open spaces.
Police officials said that no suspicious or explosive material has been found so far, but checks are continuing as a precautionary measure.
Schools Opt for Safety, Students Dispersed
Keeping student safety as the top priority, several schools in Noida decided to send students back home immediately. Parents were informed through official messages from school administrations, stating that children were being dismissed early due to security concerns.

A senior police officer said:
“All affected school premises are being carefully checked. Nothing suspicious has been detected at this stage. We urge citizens to remain calm and not to circulate unverified information.”
