New Delhi:
The President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, will undertake a four-day official visit to Maharashtra, Jharkhand, and Rajasthan from February 24 to 27, 2026. The visit will include participation in health, spiritual, educational, and defence-related programmes across the three states.


February 24 – Maharashtra (Mumbai)

The President will inaugurate the nationwide health campaign titled “Saving Lives and Building a Healthier Bharat”, organised by PD Hinduja Hospital.

Venue: Lok Bhavan, Mumbai
The campaign aims to promote preventive healthcare awareness and strengthen public health systems across the country.


February 25 – Maharashtra (Shegaon & Nagpur)

National Arogya Fair 2026 – Shegaon

The President will grace the National Arogya Fair 2026, organised by the Ministry of AYUSH.

Location: Shegaon, Buldhana District
The fair focuses on promoting traditional systems of medicine including Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy.


State-Level Launch – Nagpur

On the same day, she will attend the launch of “Golden Era of Maharashtra through Unity and Trust”, organised by the Brahma Kumaris.

Location: Nagpur
The programme emphasises social harmony, unity, and ethical development.


February 26 – Jharkhand (Jamshedpur)

Bhoomi Pujan Ceremony – Sri Jagannath Temple

The President will participate in the foundation-laying (Bhoomi Pujan) ceremony of the Sri Jagannath Temple, organised by the Shri Jaganaath Spiritual & Cultural Charitable Centre Trust.

Location: Jamshedpur


Visit to Medical College

She will also visit Manipal Tata Medical College, where she is scheduled to interact with students and faculty members.

The visit highlights the importance of medical education and healthcare capacity building in eastern India.


February 27 – Rajasthan (Pokharan)

The President will witness Ex Vayushakti at Pokharan.

Ex Vayushakti is a major firepower demonstration exercise conducted by the Indian Air Force, showcasing advanced aerial capabilities and operational preparedness.
