President of India Droupadi Murmu on Sunday formally inaugurated the Winter Annuals Edition 2026 of Amrit Udyan at Rashtrapati Bhavan, marking the commencement of public access to one of the capital’s most anticipated seasonal attractions.

The Amrit Udyan will be open to the general public from February 3 to March 31, 2026, allowing visitors to explore the gardens six days a week, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with the last entry at 5:00 p.m. The garden will remain closed on Mondays for maintenance and on March 4 due to Holi.

🎟️ Free Entry with Mandatory Online Booking

Entry to Amrit Udyan is completely free of cost, but visitors must book their slots exclusively through the online portal.
No on-the-spot booking facility will be available this year.

Authorities have advised visitors to book in advance and strictly follow the time slot and guidelines mentioned on their tickets.

👥 Special Visiting Days for Specific Groups

The garden will be reserved on select days for special categories:

  • March 3 – Defence Personnel
  • March 5 – Senior Citizens
  • March 10 – Women and Tribal Women’s SHGs
  • March 13 – Divyangjan

  • Entry & exit: Gate No. 35, President’s Estate (near North Avenue)
  • Shuttle bus service:
    • From Central Secretariat Metro Station
    • Every 30 minutes from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
    • Last shuttle: 4:00 p.m.

🌸 Visitor Route & Key Attractions

Visitors will follow a designated route covering:

Bal Vatika → Plumeria Garden → Banyan Garden → Bonsai Garden → Babbling Brook → Central Lawn → Long Garden → Circular Garden

This year’s highlights include:

  • Babbling Brook, a cascading water stream
  • Banyan Garden, featuring reflexology pathways
  • Extensive displays of tulips, roses, and seasonal flowers

📱 Visitor Guidelines & Facilities

Permitted items include mobile phones, electronic keys, handbags, water bottles, and milk bottles for infants.
Facilities such as drinking water, restrooms, and first-aid/medical support will be available along the visitor route.
