Three people were found dead inside a parked car at the Peeragarhi flyover in Outer Delhi on Monday, prompting a police investigation into the circumstances surrounding the deaths.

According to Delhi Police, a PCR call was received reporting a suspicious vehicle standing on the flyover. When police teams reached the spot, they discovered two men and one woman unresponsive inside the car.

The deceased have been identified as Randhir, Shivnaresh, and Lakshmi. Police officials said that one of the victims was the owner of the vehicle.

Initial Findings

A senior police officer said that no visible external injuries were found on the bodies during the preliminary examination.
“Three bodies were recovered from a car parked at the Peeragarhi flyover earlier today. At this stage, it appears to be a case of suicide, though all angles are being examined,” the official said.

Police and Forensic Action

The area has been cordoned off, and a forensic science team has been informed to conduct a detailed examination of the vehicle and the scene. Evidence from inside the car is being collected to establish the exact cause of death.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer District) Sachin Sharma said the police received the information around 4:00 pm.
“We got a call about a car in which three people were not responding. There are no signs of force or struggle at present. The investigation is ongoing,” he told ANI.

Cause of Death Yet to Be Confirmed

While preliminary inputs suggest suicide, police officials said the final cause of death will be confirmed only after post-mortem reports and forensic analysis are completed. Investigators are also trying to ascertain the relationship between the victims and the events leading up to the incident.

Further details are awaited as the probe continues.
