Advertisement, Sponsored Content & Commercial Communications Policy

Ruby Broadcast Network (RBN Broadcast)

(Issued by the Legal & Compliance Department of Bani Global Industries LLP)

1. PURPOSE & LEGAL INTENT

This Policy governs the solicitation, acceptance, display, disclosure, and management of all advertisements, sponsorships, paid promotions, brand integrations, and commercial communications on RBN Broadcast platforms.

The objectives are to:

  • Maintain a clear separation between editorial and commercial content
  • Protect audiences from misleading or unlawful advertising
  • Comply with applicable advertising, consumer protection, and media laws
  • Limit liability arising from third-party commercial claims

2. APPLICABILITY & SCOPE

This Policy applies to:

  • Display advertisements, audio ads, video ads
  • Sponsored articles, sponsored segments, and advertorials
  • Brand integrations and promotions in music or audio programming
  • Event sponsorships and co-branded initiatives
  • Any paid placement or consideration-based communication

This Policy applies to advertisers, sponsors, agencies, partners, and internal commercial teams.

3. SEPARATION OF EDITORIAL & COMMERCIAL CONTENT

Editorial independence is a core principle of RBN Broadcast.

Commercial considerations shall not influence:

  • News selection or placement
  • Editorial tone or conclusions
  • Religious or devotional content presentation

Paid news, undisclosed advertorials, or covert promotions are prohibited.

4. DISCLOSURE & LABELING REQUIREMENTS

All sponsored or paid content shall be clearly and prominently disclosed as:

  • “Advertisement”
  • “Sponsored”
  • “Paid Promotion”
  • “Brand Partnership”
  • (or equivalent clear labeling)

Disclosure shall be:

  • Visible
  • Unambiguous
  • Proximate to the content

Failure to disclose may result in immediate removal and contractual consequences.

5. ADVERTISER REPRESENTATIONS & WARRANTIES

Advertisers and sponsors represent and warrant that:

  • All claims are truthful, accurate, and substantiated
  • Content complies with applicable laws and self-regulatory codes
  • Advertisements do not infringe intellectual property or third-party rights
  • Products and services advertised are lawful

The LLP may require documentary substantiation at any time.

6. PROHIBITED ADVERTISING CATEGORIES

RBN Broadcast does not accept advertisements that are unlawful, deceptive, or contrary to platform values, including but not limited to:

Misleading or false claims

Hate speech or discriminatory content

Content inciting violence or public disorder

Obscene or indecent material

Unauthorized political advertising

Content disrespecting religious sentiments or Gurbani

Acceptance or rejection is at the sole discretion of the LLP.

7. MUSIC, AUDIO & DEVOTIONAL CONTENT IN ADVERTISING

Music, audio, or devotional content may not be used in advertisements without:

  • Prior written authorization
  • Appropriate licensing and rights clearance

Gurbani Kirtan or religious content shall not be used for commercial endorsements or promotions.

8. NO ENDORSEMENT DISCLAIMER

Publication of advertisements does not constitute endorsement by RBN Broadcast or the LLP.

The LLP does not guarantee the quality, safety, or efficacy of advertised products or services.

Users engage with advertisers at their own risk.

9. THIRD-PARTY AD SERVING & PLATFORMS

Advertisements may be served through third-party ad networks or platforms.

Such serving is subject to third-party terms and technologies.

The LLP disclaims liability for technical errors or actions by third-party ad providers beyond reasonable control.

10. MODIFICATION, SUSPENSION & REMOVAL

The LLP reserves the right to:

  • Reject advertisements prior to publication
  • Modify placement or presentation
  • Suspend or remove advertisements at any time

Removal may occur due to:

  • Legal or regulatory concerns
  • User complaints
  • Policy violations
  • Reputational risk

Removal does not imply acceptance of liability.

11. COMPLAINTS & GRIEVANCES (ADVERTISING)

Complaints relating to advertisements or sponsored content may be submitted with:

  • Description of the issue
  • Content reference or URL
  • Supporting information

Complaints shall be reviewed by the Legal & Compliance Department.

12. INDEMNITY

Advertisers and sponsors agree to indemnify and hold harmless the LLP from claims arising out of:

  • False or misleading advertisements
  • Regulatory non-compliance
  • Infringement of third-party rights

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The LLP shall not be liable for:

  • Advertiser representations or claims
  • Losses arising from reliance on advertisements
  • Indirect or consequential damages

Liability, if any, is limited to the extent permitted by law.

14. NO WAIVER & RESERVATION OF RIGHTS

Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute waiver.

All rights are expressly reserved.

15. POLICY UPDATES

This Policy may be amended without prior notice.

Continued participation constitutes acceptance of revised terms.

16. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

This Policy shall be governed by the laws of India.

Courts having jurisdiction over the registered office of the LLP shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
