1. PURPOSE & LEGAL OBJECTIVE

This Policy governs the publication, streaming, protection, and use of religious and devotional content, including Gurbani Kirtan, hosted or broadcast on RBN Broadcast platforms.

The objective is to ensure:

Respectful and lawful dissemination of religious material
Protection of intellectual property and performer rights
Prevention of misuse, distortion, or commercialization
Compliance with applicable laws and public-order considerations

2. NATURE OF RELIGIOUS CONTENT

Religious and devotional content may include:

Gurbani Kirtan recitations
Shabad Kirtan performances
Path, Paath, and spiritual discourses
Religious audio-visual recordings
Educational or informational religious programming

Such content is published for spiritual, cultural, and informational purposes only.

3. OWNERSHIP & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

Religious or devotional nature of content does not place it in the public domain.

Gurbani Kirtan content may be protected as:

Literary works
Musical works
Sound recordings
Performer’s rights

All rights are either owned by or lawfully licensed to Bani Global Industries LLP or its content partners.

4. USER LICENSE & PERMITTED USE

Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to:

Access and listen/view religious content
Use such content strictly for personal, non-commercial purposes

This license does not permit:

Downloading or copying
Redistribution or rebroadcast
Public performance or amplification
Commercial or monetized use

5. PROHIBITED USE & MISUSE

Users shall not:

Distort, edit, remix, or alter Gurbani or religious content
Use devotional content in reels, advertisements, films, or monetized media
Misrepresent religious content as official interpretation or directive
Use content in a manner that is disrespectful, inflammatory, or misleading
Remove credits, metadata, or attribution

Any such act constitutes breach and may invite legal action.

6. NO RELIGIOUS ENDORSEMENT OR ADJUDICATION

RBN Broadcast does not issue religious rulings, interpretations, or authoritative positions.

Content reflects performances, recitations, or informational material only.

The LLP disclaims liability for personal interpretations, beliefs, or practices adopted by users.

7. SENSITIVITY & PUBLIC ORDER CONSIDERATIONS

Religious content is handled with heightened sensitivity.

The LLP may withhold, edit, restrict, or remove content to:

Prevent communal disharmony
Comply with lawful directions
Mitigate public-order or legal risk

Such actions do not constitute admission of fault or wrongdoing.

8. CONTRIBUTORS, RAAGIS & PERFORMERS

Contributors and performers represent that:

They possess the right to perform and permit recording
Content does not infringe third-party rights
Performances comply with religious decorum

The LLP reserves the right to decline, remove, or restrict content at its discretion.

9. THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS & DISTRIBUTION

Religious content may be distributed via third-party platforms.

Distribution is subject to platform policies and technical limitations.

The LLP disclaims liability for actions taken by third-party platforms.

10. OBJECTIONS, COMPLAINTS & GRIEVANCES

Individuals or institutions with concerns regarding religious content may submit a grievance with:

Clear description of objection
URL or content reference
Supporting explanation

Complaints shall be reviewed by the Legal & Compliance Department.

14. INDEMNITY
