Legal Ownership, Compliance & Jurisdiction Policy
Ruby Broadcast Network (RBN Broadcast)
(Issued by the Legal & Compliance Department of Bani Global Industries LLP)
1. PURPOSE & LEGAL EFFECT
This Policy formally declares the legal ownership, operational control, compliance obligations, and jurisdiction applicable to Ruby Broadcast Network (RBN Broadcast).
The Policy is intended to:
- Establish unambiguous ownership and control
- Define regulatory and statutory compliance posture
- Clarify jurisdiction and governing law
- Protect the LLP against misrepresentation, misuse, and unauthorized claims
This Policy is binding on all users, contributors, partners, vendors, advertisers, and third parties interacting with RBN Broadcast.
2. LEGAL OWNERSHIP & CONTROL
Ruby Broadcast Network (RBN Broadcast) is a media and broadcasting vertical of Bani Global Industries LLP.
RBN Broadcast is not a separate legal entity.
All assets, liabilities, revenues, intellectual property, licenses, contracts, and legal obligations relating to RBN Broadcast vest solely with Bani Global Industries LLP.
No person, partner, contributor, or collaborator is authorized to represent RBN Broadcast as an independent legal entity.
3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & ASSET OWNERSHIP
All tangible and intangible assets used by RBN Broadcast, including:
- Domains, websites, and applications
- Content libraries and archives
- Trademarks, logos, and brand assets
- Technology infrastructure and databases
are owned by or lawfully licensed to the LLP.
Unauthorized claims of ownership or control shall be treated as infringement and misrepresentation.
4. REGULATORY & STATUTORY COMPLIANCE
RBN Broadcast operates in compliance with applicable Indian laws, including but not limited to:
- Information Technology Act, 2000
- Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021
- Copyright Act, 1957
- Applicable rules, notifications, and judicial directions
Compliance functions are centrally managed by the Legal & Compliance Department of the LLP.
5. EDITORIAL, CONTENT & OPERATIONAL CONTROL
Editorial, publishing, distribution, moderation, and takedown decisions are exercised solely by the LLP.
Contributors, partners, or third parties do not acquire editorial authority unless expressly authorized in writing.
The LLP reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any content or service to ensure compliance.
6. REPRESENTATIONS & DISCLAIMERS
No content, communication, or platform feature shall be construed as:
- Legal advice
- Government communication
- Official religious directive
- Professional or financial advisory service
Any representation made contrary to this Policy is unauthorized and void.
7. GOVERNMENT, REGULATOR & LAW-ENFORCEMENT INTERACTION
All communications with:
- Courts
- Government departments
- Regulatory authorities
- Law-enforcement agencies
shall be handled exclusively by the Legal & Compliance Department of the LLP.
Unauthorized engagement or representation by third parties is prohibited.
The LLP may comply with lawful orders without prior notice to users or contributors, where required by law.
8. CROSS-BORDER OPERATIONS & ACCESS
Content on RBN Broadcast may be accessible outside India.
Such access does not imply:
- Intent to target foreign jurisdictions
- Submission to foreign laws or courts
Users accessing from outside India do so at their own risk and are responsible for local law compliance.
9. NO AGENCY, PARTNERSHIP OR JOINT VENTURE
Nothing in the operation of RBN Broadcast creates:
- Agency
- Partnership
- Joint venture
- Employment relationship
between the LLP and users, contributors, or third parties.
All relationships are governed strictly by written agreements where applicable.
10. ENFORCEMENT & LEGAL ACTION
The LLP reserves the right to initiate:
- Civil proceedings
- Criminal complaints
- Injunctive relief
against any person or entity violating platform policies, laws, or rights.
Failure to enforce a right does not constitute waiver.
11. INDEMNITY
Users, contributors, and partners agree to indemnify and hold harmless the LLP from claims arising out of:
- Misrepresentation of authority
- Unauthorized use of assets or content
- Violation of laws or policies
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The LLP shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Liability, if any, is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
13. SEVERABILITY
If any provision is held invalid, remaining provisions shall remain enforceable.
14. POLICY UPDATES
This Policy may be amended at any time without prior notice.
Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
15. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
This Policy shall be governed exclusively by the laws of India.
Courts having jurisdiction over the registered office of Bani Global Industries LLP shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
